A BIT ABOUT OUR CATTLE

We started raising cattle in 2017.  I, Erin, grew up on a dairy farm and I have always had a love for all livestock.  When we purchased our farm I knew we wanted to have cattle for our kids to grow up around and be able to show at our county fair.  We work with a couple local farmers and purchase their bull calves to raise and care for, we feed them a well balanced diet of grain, minerals and forage, customized to their stage in life.

   We also raise Dexter cattle. The Dexter is the smallest breed of cattle in North America, they are a heritage breed of cattle that originated in Ireland. We own a small herd of cows who raise their calves by their side on our grass pastures. During the winter months they are then fed dried grass (hay), never any grain. The steers will be around 2 years of age when they are processed and 100% grass fed.
